We want everyone to be able to use finlandiccare.com, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- Text and buttons meet the WCAG contrast requirements. We darkened our brand orange for buttons so white text stays readable.
- Every page works with a keyboard, with visible focus, including the booking flow.
- Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting; auto-advancing content becomes manual.
- Forms have visible labels, and errors are announced to screen readers.
- The site is available in English, Arabic (right-to-left) and Finnish, with the correct language set on every page.
- Images have text alternatives in all three languages.
Known limitations
- Some third-party pages, such as Stripe's checkout, follow their own accessibility standards.
- Arabic and Finnish translations are being reviewed by native speakers.
